EnviroKey were engaged by NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service to prepare the environmental assessment for the Lower Thredbo Valley Track, a section of about 21 kms.
This extension to the Thredbo Valley Track means that you can ride from Thredbo to Jindabyne. The track has a total length of 35.1 kms ending at Gaden Trout Hatchery, where riders can then ride into Jindabyne.
This amazing extension to the Thredbo to Bullocks Flat track, was designed around key environmental constraints identified through our detailed field assessment. The flexibility of track design means that ultimately, the experience created by the track can still be enjoyed while avoiding high biodiversity value areas.
We recommend that you access this track via the Skitube bridge at Bullocks Flat as we think it is best cycled from west to east.
